Updating Windows 10

Windows 10 periodically checks for the latest updates and security features and installs them automatically to keep your device running smoothly and securely.

 

  1. To begin, click on the Start Button in the lower left corner of the task bar.
    In Windows 10 the Start Button looks like the Windows icon.
  2. Go to [Settings] → [Update & Security] → [Windows Update] → [Check for updates]
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions
