Nexus offers the following way to communicate within the platform as an alternative to Quickmail, which is not compatible with the latest 4.x release of Moodle.
Sending Messages to Select Course Participants
As a teacher you can send messages and information to your students. Follow the following steps:
- Go to the Participants tab for the course.
- Select specific participants from the list or use the Select All check box.
- Under the list of participants, find With selected users send a local mail.. and change the drop-down menu to To.
- Fill out the Subject and the Message boxes, add an attachment if desired, and click the Send button.
