MyApps.union.edu is a cloud-based application dashboard that brings all Single Sign-On protected resources in a single place for easy access.
It is also our new Password Self-Service solution providing users with the ability to change their current and expired passwords as well as reset a forgotten password via SMS, secondary (non-Union) email, or a voice call.

What is MyApps.union.edu?
MyApps.union.edu, powered by Okta, is a cloud-based application dashboard that brings all Single Sign-On protected resources into a simple and customizable interface allowing for quick, convenient, and secure access to the majority of Union’s applications you use every day. The dashboard provides streamlined authentication reducing the number of login prompts and eliminating the need to memorize individual application links.
Please note that some applications with a higher security profile may present an additional login prompt when accessed.
Myapps.union.edu is also our new Password Self-Service solution providing users with the ability to not only change their current and expired password but also reset forgotten passwords via SMS, secondary (non-union) email or a voice call. See the Self Service Documentation for information.
What is Okta?
Okta is an industry-leading cloud-based Identity and Access Management platform chosen by Union College to provide the foundation for secure connections between our user community and various campus technology resources. Okta uses your Union College identity information to intelligently grant access to relevant applications on any device at any time, while still enforcing strong security protections.
Application Dashboard
The application dashboard brings all of Union's Single Sign-On protected resources into a simple and customizable interface allowing for quick, convenient, and secure access to the majority of Union’s applications you use every day. The dashboard provides streamlined authentication reducing the number of login prompts and eliminating the need to memorize individual application links.
Customization Options
Application icons (also referred to as application cards) can be rearranged by simply clicking on an icon and dragging it to the desired location:
Applications can be organized into custom sections such as "Favorites" or "My Apps". New sections can be created by clicking on the [Add Section] link on the left-side navigation pane.
For added convenience, individual applications can be set to start automatically when you log into myapps.union.edu dashboard. To apply this setting, click on the [Additional Options] menu in the top right-hand corner of the application card, select [General] on the options pane and toggle the Launch this app when I sign in to Okta control to [On]position.
