Adding Ensemble Media Library Videos to a Playlist

Getting Started

First you need to request aa personal or course Ensemble Media Library if you do not already have one. Please submit a request to the ITS Learning Technologies + Environments team. Once you have an Ensemble Media Library setup, go to MyApps and login with your Union College Credentials. Chose "Ensemble Video" from the list.

 You also need to have already created a playlist.

Adding Ensemble Media Library videos to a playlist:

There are two ways to add videos to a playlist.  You can either add a video to a playlist when you upload it or after it is uploaded.  

Uploading the video and adding it to a playlist

1. The option to add the video to a playlist will appear after you select and upload your video file.
2. Selecting [Publish] will add the video to the playlist and upload the video. 

Adding pre-existing videos to a new playlist

1. First go to [Media Library] on the left side navigation.
   

2. Find the video you would like to add to your playlist and select [Publish].

3. The following screen will display a list of playlists.  Select the playlist you would like to add your video to by selecting the checkbox on the left.  

4. Select [Publish] to add that video to the playlist
