Make a Playlist for Ensemble Media Library

Playlists are great ways to tailor content in a library for specific material. For example, if there are 3 videos on the human body in your library of 8 videos you can make a playlist that consists of only the 3 human body videos. When the playlist link is sent out it will list only the videos that you want to be displayed and not the entirety of your library.

A playlist is a selection of customized orders songs or videos that you can publish and stream within Ensemble, or link to Nexus, Muse, Cascade, web pages, or iPads.

Getting Started

First you need to request a personal or course Ensemble Media Library if you do not already have one. Please submit a request to the ITS Learning Technologies + Environments team. Once you have an Ensemble Media Library setup, go to MyApps and login with your Union College Credentials. Chose "Ensemble Video" from the list.

Create a Playlist

  1. From the Ensemble homepage select the [Playlists] button on the left side navigation

  1. Click the [+ Add] button to create a new playlist

  2. In the following screen you can name your playlist and add a logo image.  The [Allow Download] option will let viewers download videos from the playlist.

  1. Press [Save] to save your playlist and it will appear in the list of all playlists
