Share the Canvas with Zoom

Annotate in real-time for your hybrid class. The built-in lectern is the "brain" of the operation, while the Vibe Board is simply a tool for us to annotate with.

  • [Sign in] to your personal Zoom on the Lectern computer. Sign in either by clicking on the tile in your MyApps page, or on the Zoom website.
  • Open the Zoom app on the Vibe Board and select [Join the Meeting] without signing in.
  • You can enter the meeting ID/password or you can click the zoom link in an email/calendar invitation.

Warning: Feedback can occur: Do not connect to Camera, Do Not Connect to Audio

  • Promote the Vibe Board to cohost from the lectern to allow the board sharing privileges. [Click] on Participants, hover over the Vibe and select [More]
  • [Share Screen] from the Zoom app on the Vibe Board and select the canvas you'd like to annotate.

Your students in-class and on Zoom are now able to view your images, graphs, equations and you have the freedom to annotate, highlight and add as you go.

Export the Canvas

  • URL Link
  • PDF
  • Email

Use the Vibe.us website to share the canvas via a link or export to PDF.  Sign in and select [Share].

Add the Vibe canvas URL to your course Nexus page to allow your students to view or edit your canvases outside of class.

On the board, you can also share by sending an email through the [Share] button.

We recommend designating one canvas for each week of your course for optimal performance (10 canvases for 10 weeks).
