Follow these simple instructions to remove all password information from your 
internet browsers on your PC.

Follow these simple instructions to remove all password information from your Microsoft Edge internet browser on your PC.

See instructions for Chrome and Firefox below.

  1. Click on the [Menu] button in the upper right corner of the window.

 

 

 

 

 

  1. Select [Settings] from the drop down menu
  2. Scroll down to click on [View advanced settings].

  1. Make sure that [Offer to save passwords] and [Save form entries] are set to [OFF].
  2. Click the [back arrows] to return to settings menu.

  1. Click on [Choose what to clear].
  1. Check ONLY [Form data] and [Passwords].
  1. Click [Clear].

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Your saved passwords have now been deleted and Microsoft Edge will no longer prompt you to store them in the future.

  1. Open Chrome.
  1.  Click the [Menu] button in the top right corner, and then select [Settings].

  1. At the bottom of the window, click the [Show advanced settings] button.

  1. Scroll down and ensure that under [Passwords and Forms], [Enable Autofill to fill out web forms in a single click] and [Offer to save your web passwords] are both unchecked.

 

  1. Scroll up and select the [Clear browsing data…] button in the [Privacy] section.

  1. Select [the beginning of time] from the drop down menu. Make sure that the only item checked is [Passwords] and then select the [Clear browsing data] button.

 

 

Your saved passwords are now cleared.

  1. Open Firefox.

 

  1. Click the [Menu] button in the top right corner and select [Preferences] from the drop down menu.

  1. Click [Security] on the left side bar.

  1. Make sure [Remember logins for sites] is unchecked, and then click on the [Saved Logins…] button.

  1. Click [Remove All] at the bottom of the popup window.

  1. Click [Yes] to confirm the deletion of your saved passwords. 

 

 

 

Your saved passwords have now been deleted and Firefox will no longer prompt you to store them in the future.
