Protect your PC by setting a password for the screen saver and sleep mode.

 

 

 

For Windows 7:

(see Windows 8/8.1/10 below)

 

1. Right click on the desktop and then choose [Personalize].

2. Select [Screen Saver].

3. Ensure that [On resume, display logon screen] is checked, and that [Wait: ___ minutes] is set to 15 minutes or less.  Click on [Apply] to save your settings.

For Windows 8, 8.1, and 10:

1. Right click on the [Start Menu] in the bottom left corner of your screen.

2. Select [Control Panel].

3. Select [Personalization].

4. Select [Screen Saver] in the lower right corner.

5. Ensure that On resume, display logon screen is checked, and that Wait: ___ minutes is set to 15 minutes or less.  Click on Apply to save your settings.
