To help support the new copier deployment, ITS is providing access to the documentation and drivers for PC and Mac computers below. Instructions for Linux/Chromebooks are further down this page.
To use the copiers on campus with your computer, you will need to download the drivers at the following link: https://union.printix.net/download
This software is for Union Faculty/Staff & Students and it will:

install the driver files for the copiers

set up the printer on your machine for the copiers
Please follow these steps to install the drivers:

Click on the link above then the green download button to download the installer. The website automatically detects whether you are using a Mac or PC and will download the appropriate software for your computer type.

Open the downloaded file and follow the prompts to install the Printix client.
2a. If you are on a Mac and see this message when installing the software:
You will need to CTRL-click or Right-click the file and select Open as shown here:
You should then see the following window. Click Open and install the software
- When the installation completes, your default web browser will open (If you are on a Mac and Safari is your default browser, 2 tabs will open so close one of them). Click Sign in with Google and sign in with your Union account. If you are already signed into another Google site such as Gmail, you will be automatically signed in.

The printers will be automatically installed and you can print immediately.

You will use your Union ID to retrieve your prints from any campus copier
Linux/Chromebooks only can use a Google Chrome browser extension to print. The steps to set this up are as follows:
- Open the Chrome Web Store and search for Printix
- Select Add to Chrome.
- Select Add extension.
- Open the item you want to print in the Google Chrome browser.
- Select Print on the menu
- Select Change…
- In the Select destination dialog select one of the Printix printers (BW-Union for black & white prints, Color-Union for color printing)
- Click Print
If you attempt to access the Chrome Web Store and see a message stating you do not have access to the Chrome Web Store, please open an Additional Google Workspace Services request to enable the Chrome Web Store for your account: https://union.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/1831/Portal/Requests/ServiceDet?ID=30002. Once that has been completed, please try installing the extension again.
**Note: Color prints on ChromeOS devices are currently not supported. Please print from one of the public area computers if color prints are needed.**

**This software can be used on personal as well as college-owned computers.**
